These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TestCrux ("TestCrux", "we", "us", or "our"), including the website www.testcrux.com, mobile experiences, and any related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use TestCrux. If you are under 18, you may only use the Platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@testcrux.com of any unauthorised use.
2. Services Offered
TestCrux provides an online exam preparation Platform that includes mock tests, practice questions, performance analytics, AI-powered explanations and reports ("CruxAI"), and related study tools for Indian competitive exams. Certain features are offered free of charge; certain other features are offered on a paid basis as part of CruxAI Pro.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable Indian law or regulation.
- Reproduce, copy, sell, resell, scrape, or otherwise commercially exploit any part of the Platform, including questions, answers, explanations, analytics, or AI outputs, without our prior written consent.
- Share, distribute, or publish test content or solutions in a way that enables cheating, impersonation, or fraud.
- Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access the Platform or to bypass usage limits.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, other user accounts, our systems, or any connected third-party service (including our payments processor).
- Upload or transmit any content that is harmful, offensive, infringes intellectual property, or violates the rights of others.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including questions, solutions, explanations, analytics, AI-generated outputs, logos, design, layout, and software — is owned by TestCrux or its licensors and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial exam preparation. All other rights are reserved.
5. CruxAI Pro & Payments
CruxAI Pro is a paid subscription offered for fixed durations (e.g. 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months) as a one-time purchase per duration. Prices are listed on the Platform and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR).
Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, an RBI-authorised payment aggregator. By making a payment you also agree to Razorpay's terms and privacy policy. TestCrux does not store your card or banking details on its servers; these are handled by Razorpay.
CruxAI Pro entitlements (such as 25 tests/day, expanded AI helper limits, and CruxAI Reports) activate after a successful payment and remain valid only for the duration purchased. Unused entitlements do not carry over once the duration expires.
Refunds, where applicable, are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. Service Availability & Changes
We strive to keep the Platform available 24×7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, technical failures, or events outside our reasonable control may cause temporary unavailability. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. Where a material change affects a paid feature you currently rely on, we will provide reasonable advance notice via email or in-app message.
7. Disclaimers
TestCrux is a self-study aid. We do not guarantee any specific exam outcome, rank, or score. Mock test difficulty, answer keys, and AI explanations are provided in good faith but may contain errors; official examination authorities' pattern, syllabus, or answer keys shall prevail. The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TestCrux, its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including loss of marks, opportunity, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Platform shall not exceed the amount, if any, that you have actually paid to TestCrux in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time by writing to contact@testcrux.com. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) shall survive.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Material changes will be notified via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform.
